Rope Logic Sling with SAFEBLOC 3/4"

The Rope Logic Sling with SafeBloc is a 16 ft, 3/4" straight sling spliced to the SafeBloc, a hard-coated triple-hole thimble developed by David Driver of X-Rigging Rings with SherrillTree. It adds controlled friction at the top of the rigging system, which reduces rigging-point stress compared with a block or pulley.

With that extra friction, the climber can often take over the rigging line after the groundperson controls the initial drop on small to medium loads, freeing the ground crew to use both hands. Use it anywhere you would use an arborist block for lowering.

• Length: 16 ft, 3/4" rope
• Triple-hole thimble: weave through all three holes for maximum friction, or fewer for less
• Set the friction level once; no need to climb back to adjust
• No moving parts to wear out; hard-coated for extended wear
• For medium and larger loads, add a basal lowering device
