Samson Mercury is a static kernmantle climbing line built for single-rope technique (SRT) climbing. Its firm, balanced, non-rotational body gives a quick, stable ascent on mechanical devices, with good shock mitigation. Samson also rates it as a rappelling, rescue, and safety lifeline.
